Keyword Research – Market Samurai Review

The biggest mistake I made when first starting out with Internet Marketing was in completely ignoring keyword research.  And I was very consistent, as I failed to do any keyword research for my article marketing too!  Of course you can get good traffic quickly from Pay Per Click, but unless you’ve got very deep pockets, you can soon bust your budget just in the testing phase.  (And PPC needs keyword research too.)  I  chose article marketing because I was looking for long-term, free traffic, and I guess most newbie marketers are.

We all start out with great intentions, and often work very hard, for no tangible results. But even if  you sometimes feel that apart from you, everyone else is (allegedly) making $$$$ every day, the failure rate of new online marketers is a depressing 99%.

Why do newbie Internet Marketers fail so badly? They are ignoring the THREE secrets of how to rank on Google. It might be wonderful that 50,000 people are searching for a keyword, but if you ignore the fact that 51,000 websites are targeting that keyword, you are dead in the web!

So, OK – I lied – they aren’t secrets at all. All this information is readily available to you in numerous places, but nowhere is it better presented than in Market Samurai’s free keyword and internet marketing training course.  And it’s so well covered that although you don’t need to be a high-flyer to benefit, even experienced marketers are learning new tricks of the trade.

Review of Market Samurai

Well that’s what I promised, so let me tell you of my experiences.

When I did my first free download of Market Samurai I was rather overwhelmed by it, to be completely honest, and I hardly used it, which was my loss.  It wasn’t the fault of the software, nor the training.  I gave up too quickly, is the truth.

But the training team kept on adding new features and sending me update emails, so I started reading them and taking note, because all the time the package sat moldering on my hard disk, my poor online marketing results hadn’t improved, despite flirting with other training courses and methods.

Then someone asked me a very interesting question. “What is it that you know you aren’t doing, but you know you should be doing?” And I had to admit to myself, the missing link was keyword research.  Everyone said so. Why wouldn’t I just get on with it?  Especially with access to free training and a free copy of Market Samurai.

Finally I went back to basics with the keyword tool training and started using the package again.

This time round I went through the course  more slowly, chunk by chunk and immediately put into practice what I’d seen on the videos.  Also I printed out the work books and made notes of how I could use the tips in my own business.  That was the turning point.  I’ve still got tons to learn, but the Market Samurai developers are continually adding new content, so I’m learning all the time.

Another tip for  Market Samurai users – take advantage of the excellent support team – always most patient even when I ask daft questions. (OK, so the only daft question is the one you don’t ask.  But you know what I mean.)
