I honestly don’t know – I’ve heard convincing arguments on both sides.
But whether it’s fact or just a fear, there are times when you need Article Spinning software to generate multiple different copies, or even just one good new copy of a basic article.
Even if Google doesn’t actually penalize multiple copies of an article, it makes sense to have different versions, so that they can appear in the search engines for different keywords. You achieve this by a process known as Article Spinning.
What is Article Spinning?
It’s the function of taking words / phrases / sentences in your article and altering them to use different words, yet with the same meaning, so that your article is significantly different. Apparently 30% different is a good target to aim for.
When I first started in Article Marketing this was something I (occasionally, if we’re honest) did manually. And very tedious it was too. With no way of knowing if I had hit the magical 30% target or not!
My next stage of automation was to take a monthly subscription to an article spinning and distribution service where for a monthly fee I could have 8 articles spun in their software and submitted to many article directories. This was a fantastic service, but to be honest I struggled to write and spin 8 articles in the month, so felt I was wasting my subscription most of the time.
